NextCloud

A platform committed to preserving digital sovereignty, security, confidentiality and reducing licensing costs.

NextCloud Integration

Transitioning to a new platform requires an understanding of its capabilities and limitations. CRT Design evaluates your business processes, the processes in place in your current solution and supports you in integrating the NextCloud solution into your business processes.

NextCloud Design

The NextCloud solution benefits from several visual customization options to ensure that it reflects your business. CRT Design supports you in the best practices of design configuration and helps you in the configuration.

Thanks to our expertise in WEB design, your NextCloud ecosystem will reflect your identity, both in terms of colors and illustrations.

NextCloud Security

From setting up a data and document encryption configuration, to establishing security groups, to implementing two-factor authentication, the NextCloud solution has all the tools to ensure complete protection of your data and documents, while allowing you an efficient and secure collaboration.

Although some secure configurations may resemble common platforms such as Microsoft and Google, the NextCloud ecosystem contains particularities. CRT Design supports you in the configuration and training of your administrators to make you secure and allow you to maintain and evolve this security.

NextCloud Communication and collaboration

Thanks to NextCloud Talk, NextCloud Team Folder and NextCloud Announcements, the NextCloud ecosystem provides you with a complete solution to maximize your internal and external communication and collaboration.

Despite terminologies common to major widespread platforms such as Microsoft and Google, there are variations in the configuration and use and CRT Design supports you in configuring and adopting communication and collaboration tools in optimal ways.

Our approach

An ecosystem transition is a major change that must necessarily be carried out in phases and with carefully developed support. In this context, CRT Design has developed a realization plan that allows for a smooth transition and respects the adoption time by your stakeholders.

Note : The implementation plan is at a high level and can vary according to your needs, it is reviewed following step 3. Also, in an ecosystem transition, you must consider that you will have, for a certain periods of time, two ecosystems in parallel.

Step 1

We begin by evaluating your existing solution, your needs and your expectations. This is done with the help of one or more meetings. During these meetings, we also note the elements that might diverge in terms of features between your existing solution and the NextCloud solution.

Step 2

Thanks to the information gathered during the preliminary meetings, CRT Design drafts an analysis document presenting the gaps between your existing solution and the NextCloud solution and presenting a detailed proposal of the implementation phases. At this stage, we also prepare a proof of concept in a demo environment to present the proposal detailed in the document.

Step 3

We hold a meeting with you to present the proof of concept, discuss discrepancies, discuss advantages and disadvantages, and establish a schedule if the proposal interests you.

Step 4

In the event that the proposal interests you, we start by putting you in contact with a partner for the installation of the NextCloud ecosystem on a hosted server, if you do not have a server. If you have a server, we provide your information technology team with the links and documents related to the installation of NextCloud on the server that you will have dedicated for this ecosystem.

Step 5

Now that your NextCloud ecosystem is installed, we start with a series of workshops to establish the governance of the ecosystem.

Step 6

The governance established, CRT Design proceeds with the configuration by phase established in the proposal document with the actors identified for each of the components of the ecosystem. This configuration is accompanied by training for super users and multiple workshops.

Step 7

At the end of each phase, we plan a training for a group of test users who will be responsible for working with your existing ecosystem and your new NextCloud ecosystem simultaneously during a determined period. Throughout this period, these users note adjustments and identify issues that CRT Design and the super users will adjust.

Step 8

Following this test period, for each phase individually, a migration and training schedule is established for all other users outside the test group.

Step 9

We support you following the launch of each phase for any final patches.
